The CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS) Committee sets the overall direction for the CCSS standard and CryptoCurrency Security Standard Auditor (CCSSA) exam. Committee members meet regularly to maintain the knowledge base repository (standard), and manage the CCCSSA examination and other CCSS and CCSSA materials.

Andreas M. Antonopoulos

Andreas M. Antonopoulos is a best-selling author, speaker, educator, and one of the world’s foremost bitcoin and open blockchain experts. He is known for delivering electric talks that combine economics, psychology, technology, and game theory with current events, personal anecdote, and historical precedent effortlessly transliterating the complex issues of blockchain technology out of the abstract and into the real world.

Petri Basson

Petri has a background in finance and IT. He holds qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) as well as Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP) and Accredited Director (Acc. Dir). He helped to set up KPMG in the Cayman Islands' Digital Asset practice and has experience working with a wide range of clients in the digital asset space.

Mike Belshe

Jameson has been building multisig Bitcoin wallets since 2015. He is the founder and CTO of Casa and also founded Mensa's Bitcoin Special Interest Group, the Triangle Bitcoin & Business meetup, and several open source Bitcoin projects. He enjoys researching various aspects of the ecosystem and giving presentations about what he has learned the hard way while trying to write robust software that can withstand both adversaries and unsophisticated users.

Joshua McDougall

Joshua is an Associate Managing Director with Kroll’s Cyber Risk and Investigations practice based in Denver, CO. He specializes in investigations involving complex data systems, including blockchain-based systems and assets. He is co-author of the CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS).

Michael Perklin

Michael is the Chief Information Security Officer of ShapeShift.com, the leading non-custodial platform for managing digital assets. Michael also serves as the President of C4, having co-founded the non-profit organization in 2014. Michael is an information security expert with over a decade of experience in performing digital forensic examinations, cyber investigations, and incident response post-mortems. Michael helped co-author the CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS) and his work has secured hundreds of millions of dollars worth of bitcoin, ether, and other cryptocurrencies. Michael is a regular speaker in the blockchain conference circuit, and enjoys finding new ways to break things.

Erica is the Operations Manager at C4. She previously worked as Director of Operations at aantonop Operations LLC, during which time worked in conjunction with C4 to organize and run the Bitcoin Training Conference (BTC) 2019.

Miss Incrypto

Miss is the Development Manager at C4. She started her journey into cryptocurrency in August of 2021 and quickly fell down the rabbit hole. After a decade in traditional finance, Miss was eager to learn more about all things defi. She is passionate about educating and empowering others as they begin their own journeys.

Jessica Levesque

Jessica Levesque is the Executive Director at C4. She has worked in the bitcoin, open blockchains, and web3 space since 2017. She previously held positions as the CEO for Andreas M. Antonopoulos, VP of Education for Empowered Law, and as an Associate Dean with the City Colleges of Chicago.

Pamela Morgan

Pamela Morgan is an educator, entrepreneur, author, and attorney who has been working exclusively with bitcoin & open blockchains since early 2014. Morgan is a widely respected authority on multi-signature governance and legal innovation in digital currencies. Her book, Cryptoasset Inheritance Planning: A Simple Guide for Owners, provides a clear blueprint to inheritance planning for those holding cryptocurrency, tokens, crypto-collectibles, and other cryptoassets.
